So, these are pictures from the duck rescue 2009. The plan was to go and "save" the domestic duck which had been (apparently) stuck on the rock on the shoreline in front of our house for days. We had been feeding it bread...it appeared to have clipped wings and is a domestic duck species from Asia... Anyhow, needless to say (see picture 3), when I finally went to rescue it, it flew! Yeah (but now I kind of miss it... :) ).
PS- I will note for the record: Annie wanted nothing to do with this duck ;) Though she did throw it food!!!
