Trips and pumpkins

Here is a crawling movie and a few quick pictures of our trip down to California and Massachusetts. Gage made his first visit to Big Sur at the tail end of my conference trip :) Not sure how much of it he actually noticed, but he travelled well and seemed to enjoy it. This trip was followed by a trip out east and a visit by both sets of grandparents. Leaves were beautiful, the Cape was nice and we got to see some punkin chunkin', too. We wish the FU2 crew the best of luck this weekend!

New car seat

This has been a busy week! Three more whales and a appointment for vaccinations that let us know it was time to get the new car seat installed. Yes, he was 22.5 lbs and 29 1/2 inches! So, he gets the Britax to try out starting this weekend. All else is going well. Gage and I are getting ready to head down to LA then on to Boston. He will have his first visit to Big Sur, where (hopefully) his dad will join Marty, Gage and me. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather. I am sure we will have some good pictures from that trip. While in LA we will be staying at the Sofitel in the fashionable Beverly Hills section of town. Barrow, for those who have not heard, re-elected its present mayor on Tuesday. Spent my birthday at whales all night, then all day too! Otherwise, all has been going well. Baby is growing like a weed and we just got a couple of really cute snowsuits for the Gage man who is now commando crawling in a forward direction. We look forward to seeing everyone next week, including Mar and Lar, who will come out to Boston to visit while we are there. We are hoping for great weather so we can see some pumpkin chunkin practice!

Happy weekend from Gage

Not too much new. Weather day today--- blowing and snowing, so no whaling. Barrow won their football game and will head to Anchorage next weekend for the next game in the playoffs.
