First Snow

Well, we have had the first snow that has stuck this weekend...Friday morning, actually. It is just a small amount, but it sure changes the scenery quick...and (as Ken says) makes it hard to see our fox...the arctic fox that has decided to adopt our yard and the area under our house as his home range. We had a very busy weekend- off to Gene and Sophia's Friday night for pizza, Health Fair on Saturday (I manned a table for wildlife dept., Ken joined with Gage later in the morning) and a 58th birthday party for Geoff last night. Today, taking it easy and cleaning...and I am off to work for a little while. Our organic vegetable deliveries start this week (we have joined the co-op that our babysitter Annie started-- a delivery of a box of organic vegetables and fruits from a farm in Washington as often as once a week (or however often you want if it is less than this)). You even get to choose a lot of what you get, which is really cool...and of course, you can order other stuff too (like fresh herbs!!!). This week will be busy with propsals and yearly reports and then whaling will begin on Oct. 4. Then life will be a blur for a while. One other exciting this is that my atigi (fur parka) that I have been working on for a very long time is almost finished! Pictures of that soon :)
