First!

Well, we are all pretty new to this blogging stuff, but we figure this is a good way to keep the loads of people we are forgetting to send emails to up to date with the baby and our lives in general. Things are fine up in Barrow. We are finallycoming out of winter and the snowbirds are here- in fact, I saw the first gulls in Barrow today :) The snow was melting yesterday, when the temps got up near to 40 degrees (!) but it was cooler today. The whaling crews are out on the ice, but my wildlife radio has been quiet today. We will see about the rest of the weekend. Tomorrow our friend Kelly comes into town and we are having a big going away party for our friends Layla, Mark and Luke at the house. We have some new pictures to post that I will put up here for our new blog. Hope you enjoy them!
